PROJECT     Restaurant

LOCATION   Bangkok, Thailand

SITE AREA    98 sq.m.

TIMELINE      2 months of construction

SCOPE        Design

Song Fa Bak Kut Teh | Central Pinklao A heritage-inspired restaurant fit-out designed by Hunting Urges Design Co., Ltd.. This project successfully translates traditional Singaporean dining culture into a premium mall setting. Key architectural elements include custom shophouse-style tiled roofs, a signature turquoise breeze-block perimeter, and a vintage pushcart replica that anchors the storefront and draws in foot traffic.

Key Design Features

  • Shophouse Aesthetics: The use of pitched, tiled roof elements and louvered panels over the service areas creates a "shop-in-shop" feel.

  • Signature Color Palette: The striking use of teal/turquoise patterned breeze blocks provides a strong visual identity that contrasts perfectly with the warm wood tones.

  • Theatrical Storefront: The inclusion of the traditional wooden pushcart with tiffin carriers acts as a highly photographable landmark for the restaurant.

  • Seamless Tech Integration: Modern POS systems and digital displays are framed within traditional architectural elements so they don't disrupt the vintage atmosphere.
